Reviews about historical, literary, classic, and other fiction. Miscellaneous book things.
A rather disturbing look at marketing directed at children, and of its ill effects. Covers everything from movies and video games, to fast food and tobacco. It's amazing that there is no regulation in this area, and how the blame is more directed at parents, though I can't imagine a way for them to protect their kids from it on their own. I recommended this book to my sister (a teacher), especially for the facts on marketing in schools.
