The Sisters Brothers by Patrick DeWitt
After reading all the glowing reviews, I found this book a bit overrated. It has a potentially interesting story and characters, but it didn't feel like much was done with either.The writing was rather stilted in a way that didn't add to the story, and it was hard to get into at first. The plot never really got to the climax it seemed like it was leading to, and it just kind of petered out at the end.When I finished the book, I just thought, "that's it?"
